This just popped on my computer so thanks again for a wonderful tribute To your youth with Sam. I was lucky enough to live with this wonderful man most of the last two years and from all his ex's that have kept in touch and just his current friends I can tell you they loved it too. Tomorrow is Sam's birthday a day to celebrate the love of my life and I can't help remebering all the times he told me I was his, most important the soulmate he longed for. As the person that knew him best in the end Thank you.

Sam sounds like he was quite a guy and I enjoyed seeing the sketch and reading about him. Sorry for the loss of Sam but somehow I think Sam is quite aware of the drawing and what you wrote.

Sam would have loved this. He was always showing me your work and so proud of your talent. It's a beutiful tribute to a beautiful man.

Stories like that, we all have them more and more as we get older let us realize that time goes by fast and we should never assume we always have tomorrow.

One of the best things about being married to you, Josh, is having shared a lifetime of stories & building memories together. As wonderful as our own memories are, the ones you shared with Sam and your other friends have always been so entertaining and extremely vivid that I often feel as though I was actually there with you. Although I would have taken the car keys after you boys drank too much. We will all miss Sam very much yet are so lucky to have had him in our lives.
Rest in Peace Sam.

What a beautiful tribute to Sam and days gone by. I feel like I know him now, and was transported to the 80s. Well done, JP.
