Wasn't Dirk T. Sanchez involved in the Great Scandal of 1902 in which a certain notorious professional baseball player was caught in a compromising situation in a Kansas City Hotel Room with 12 underage Harvey Girls and a pack mule?

My grandfather used to have his baseball card when I was a kid. He kept in inside his tobacco pouch. Whenever he filled his pipe, he'd glance down at old "Dirty Sanchez", as he called him, and smile. He told me that one day when I was older, he'd tell me the story about the man on that baseball card. Grandpa died before I was old enough to hear the tale of that baseball player with the funny looking mustache.

Thanks to the internet, I now know. And I also know that my grandfather was indeed, a dirty old man.
